Library 100th Birthday

In commemoration of its centennial anniversary, the Lincoln County Public Library is hosting bestselling author Debbie Macomber as part of its From Pen to Page author series on Saturday, November 8th, 2025.

Known for her uplifting stories that capture the warmth of community and the magic of everyday moments, Debbie will share insights from her latest holiday novel, A Ferry Merry Christmas—a heartwarming tale set in a close-knit town where miracles just might be a ferry ride away. Following the talk, there will be a Q&A session, giving attendees the chance to ask Debbie questions about her books, writing process, and inspiration.

AUTHOR BIOGRAPHY

Debbie Macomber is one of today’s most prolific and popular writers with more than 200 million copies of her books in print worldwide. She is the author of numerous bestsellers, including Any Dream Will Do, Sweet Tomorrows, A Girl’s Guide to Moving On, Last One Home, Blossom Street Brides, and Rose Harbor in Bloom. In her novels, Macomber brings to life compelling relationships that embrace family and enduring friendships, uplifting her readers with stories of connection and hope. Macomber’s novels have spent over 1,000 weeks on the New York Times bestseller list. Fifteen of these novels hit the number one spot. • Debbie's newest release, Ferry Merry Christmas, will be available for purchase for $20 cash or $22 credit/debit. Cash payment is preferred.

• Debbie will only be signing books purchased at the event.

• Debbie will sign a limited number of books following the program but pre-signed copies will also be available while supplies last.

PRE-EVENT ACTIVITIES: Downtown Lincolnton Scavenger Hunt

Saturday, November 8, 2025 – 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Join the fun before the event with our From Page to Pavement Scavenger Hunt in downtown Lincolnton!

• Activity map available at: Charles R. Jonas Library, Benny's Boutique, Treasures on Main, Steer South Trading Post

• It’s a walking scavenger hunt highlighting some of Debbie Macomber’s well-loved books and local businesses and locations.

• Participants who complete the map will be entered into a drawing for a special gift basket featuring a signed copy of Debbie’s new book!
