  1. Who is eligible to apply for this funding?
    • Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations, government agencies, hospital systems, behavioral health providers, Federally Qualified Health Centers, colleges and universities, school systems, and community-based organizations. Organizations must serve Lincoln County residents.
  2. What types of programs or services can be funded? 
    • Projects must align with one or more of the following eligible strategies:
      • Collaborative strategic planning
      • Employment-related services
      • Early intervention
      • Naloxone distribution
      • Syringe service programs
      • Criminal justice diversion programs
      • Addiction treatment for incarcerated persons
      • Reentry programs
  3. Can my organization apply for more than one strategy?
    • Yes. Organizations may apply for multiple strategies, but a separate application is required for each strategy.
  4. What is the funding period and can projects be renewed?
    • Funded projects cover a one-year period from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027. Continued funding beyond this period is not guaranteed. Organizations must reapply in future funding cycles if funds remain available.
  5. How and when can I apply?
  6. How are funds distributed and reimbursed? 
    • Funding is provided on a quarterly reimbursement basis. Organizations must submit invoices and supporting documentation for eligible expenses. Funds cannot be used for costs incurred before the contract start date.
