[ARCHIVED] Lincoln County Ends State of Emergency

State of Emergency ENDS

(Lincolnton) Lincoln County Board of Commissioners Chair Cathy Davis has executed an official termination of the State of Emergency for Lincoln County effective 12:00 PM on Thursday, October 31, 2024.

 The State of Emergency was issued Friday, September 27, 2024, after Hurricane Helene caused thousands of power outages, damaged homes, and flooded roads in Lincoln County and the surrounding areas. The disaster declaration provided assistance to the area, including grants to eligible individuals and families.
