This means that residents can once again engage in controlled outdoor burning activities. The burning ban put in place on November 8, 2023 has officially been lifted as of November 22, 2023 at 12:00pm. • Recreational fires must be at least 25 feet from a structure.
  • Fires more than 3 feet in diameter require a burning permit.
  • Fires requiring a burning permit within 100 feet of a dwelling must be obtained from the Lincoln County Fire Marshal.
