The Lincoln County Board of Commissioners shall hold a Special Meeting on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at 4:00 P.M. at the Lincoln County Administration Building, 353 North Generals Blvd., Lincolnton, NC 28092 at the Board of Commissioners Board Room.
The subject of the meeting is to consider a vote of no confidence in the Board Chairman, Carrol Mitchem and to hold a Closed Session pursuant to N.C.G.S. 143-318.11(3) and (6) to consult with an attorney employed or retained by the public body in order to preserve the attorney-client privilege is hereby acknowledged, and to consider the qualifications, competence, performance, character, fitness, conditions of appointment, or conditions of initial employment of an individual public officer or employee or prospective public officer or employee; or to hear or investigate a complaint, charge, or grievance by or against an individual public officer or employee.
