Edwards Moving & Rigging will be conducting a move of oversized equipment for Siemens Energy. This move will travel from Timken on Hwy 27 East to the Duke Energy Lincoln Combustion Turbine site on Old Plank Rd. The move will leave Timken at approximately 8:00 am traveling west on Highway 27 East. Due to the height and weight of the transport, the route will travel Highway 27 East to Buffalo Shoals Road, to Ivey Church Rd to Highway 150 East, to King Wilkinson Rd, to Amity Church Rd to Highway 73 to Old Plank Rd. They are expecting the transport to take most of the afternoon and arrive at the destination around 4:15 pm that afternoon.
