Posted on: December 5, 2016[ARCHIVED] Due to recent precipitation and lower fire danger, the burn ban for Lincoln County has been lifted.
Effective December 2, 2016 at 5 p.m., the restriction on open burning put in place by the Fire Marshal and the Forest Service was removed. Please remember that all open burning requires a burning permit.
Permits can be obtained from an authorized agent or online at http://ncforestservice.gov.
