Due to the replacement of railroad ties along an active rail line in Eastern Lincoln County residents can expect road closures lasting one to two days. The following roads in Lincoln County will experience closure where they cross the railroad:
Lucia Highway/N.C. 16 Bus.
Killian Road
Little Egypt Road
Optimist Club Road
Pine Ridge Road
Campground Road
Some private roads will be affected by closures as well.
Closures will begin July 12th and start from the southern end of the county and progress northward as work is completed. Closures are anticipated to be complete by July 23.
