Lincoln County Public Works is currently upgrading and improving the Water Treatment Plant and asks that all water customers voluntarily conserve water during this construction.
During the installation of some new equipment at our water treatment plant, the plant will be at half capacity. To insure that our customer have an adequate supply of water, we are requesting that our customers conserve water through voluntary water restrictions. These restrictions will be in place from 5:00 am, October 7, 2013 until 5:00 pm December 13, 2013, and include:
No lawn irrigation
No filling of pools or topping off pools
No car washing or pressure washing
No water from fire hydrants for any purpose other than fire fighting or other public emergencies
Additionally we request that all customers further limit all water use to essential use only during this time.
