Several roads remain closed in Lincoln County as a result of the flooding events of July 27 and 28
Several NCDOT roads remain closed as a result of damage sustained in the flooding events of July 27 and 28. These roads are listed below along with their anticipated length of closure:
SR 1129 – Beam Lumber Bridge – 5 months – Expedited Design in Progress
SR 1123 – Dan Rhyne Rd – 6 weeks – Under Contract
SR 1120 – Tallent Rd – 6 weeks – Under Contract
SR 1492 – Burgin Smith – 4 weeks
There remain several sites where the roads are open that will require additional drainage and shoulder repairs. Crews will be responding to those sites over the next several weeks.
